#4 Green irrigation valve repair.

 You may have seen the crew and myself digging a hole with the front end loader the other day. The irrigation valve that isolates 4 green has failed and broken shut. After several hours of digging, we were able to locate the valve and replace it.  Back to normal until the next break...

Short Game expansion

 This is the only picture I have of the bunker that no longer exists. The middle short game bunker was filled in and resodded with 007 bent grass.  by removing the bunker, we picked up an additional 4000 square feet of playing area. d Laying sod is back breaking work, but it also gives instant gratification when done.

Driving Range repair

 After a busy and dry summer. the driving range fairway received some much needed TLC.  The fairway was heavily beat up from the ball picker and mowing.  We stripped, filled holes, repaired drainage and sodded.  Turf type tall fescue was chosen in the hopes of holding up better throughout the season.

14 & 18 Bridge Repair

  The beginning of repairs on 18 bridge.  Old decking was removed, and existing joists and beams were repaired as needed The bridges originally had 3 joists or beams running under the deck. We added 2 additional joists for more strength.         New yellow pine deck boards are down and the crew is installing 6 screws per board. It took 1584 screws just for # 18    New rails are on and 18 is finally complete!         #14 was mostly the same except for the added fun of working in several inches of water...
